Ron
Owner and Graphic Artist
From a young age, it was clear that Ron had a unique blend of artistic talent and business acumen. Graduating from Columbus College of Art and Design in 1992, Ron channeled his marketing and advertising degree into roles as a copywriter, ad designer, and screen-printer, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience.
In 1996, Ron took a leap of faith and founded Alley Cat Designs, Inc. What started as a one-man operation, with Ron juggling the roles of artist, salesman, administrator, screen printer, shipper, and bookkeeper, has since blossomed into a thriving enterprise. Today, Alley Cat Designs boasts a workforce of more than 20 employees and maintains stellar reputation in the community, as the “place to go” for custom apparel. "Since 1996, we‘ve had the privilege of serving the Dayton communities and beyond," says Ron. "Many of our initial clients remain with us, a testament to the strong relationships we’ve built. We’re honored to collaborate with hundreds of businesses, school districts, sports and dance teams, and non-profit organizations."
Ron lives by a simple yet powerful motto: under-promise and over-deliver. "Honesty is paramount," he asserts. "We believe in fully explaining the process to our clients and educating them about the quality of our work. I always advise my employees never to make promises they can’t keep. The quickest way to lose trust and accounts is to over-promise and fall short on a deadline."
Ron lives in Germantown, Ohio, with his wife, Joni. He is the proud father of three sons: Robert, Andrew, and Stephen, and three step-daughters: Amber, Courtney, and Alysa.

Ray
General Manager
Ray began his career at Alley Cat more than 23 years ago as a printer. With a diverse background in business, logistics, customer service, and sales, he has risen through the ranks to become the General Manager. Originally from Holland, Ray became a U.S. citizen in 2008. In his free time, he enjoys dining out and having drinks with his wife, Stephanie. Ray is also a fan of American football (Go Bucks!), Formula 1 racing, traveling whenever possible, being on the shooting range and playing golf.
Mark
Account/Sales Manager
Alley Cat Design’s Sales and Account Manager, Mark Bromagen has been with the company since 2009. A loyal Ohio State fan, Mark and his wife of 36 years, Kim, have two sons. Justin recently graduated from Illinois State University. He is the assistant offensive line coach and history teacher at Normal Community High School in Normal, Illinois; and Jase is taking classes at Sinclair Community College and also works in Customer Service at Alley Cat. Mark takes pride in providing the best service for his clients and can handle all of your spirit wear, event swag, and signage needs!
Donna
Account Manager
If you’ve seen the National Cheer Competition on ESPN, you’ll probably recognize our Account Manager Donna as a cheer competition judge! Donna is the founder of CHEER FOR A CURE, a local #BreastCancer benefit cheer competition held each February. She has been with Alley Cat since in 2010 and enjoys working with athletic groups and their fans.

Larry
Art Director
Art Director Larry is an avid comic book enthusiast who admires the creations of Stan Lee and Charles Schultz, among others. A graduate of the School of Advertising Art (now The Modern College of Design), he has more than 30 years of experience in the screenprint industry. He takes pride in delivering high-quality designs, meeting deadlines, and transforming simple concepts into extraordinary designs. Larry resides in West Carrollton with his wife and two sons.
Bob
Graphic Artist
Bob has been a part of Alley Cat for more than 15 years. A native of West Carrollton and shares his home with two dogs, Maggie and Charlie. When he’s not cracking jokes with Larry and Ron in the art department, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and working at his tattoo shop, Wise Guys Tattoo Society.
Andrew
Production Manager
As the middle son of our founder, Ron, Andrew has spent much of his life at Alley Cat Designs. As a child, he spent summers running around the production floor and began full-time as a screen cleaner after high school. Andrew has steadily progressed from screen cleaner to press operator and is now Alley Cat‘s Production Manager. He earned an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Sinclair Community College and a Bachelor’s in Small Business Management at Miami University. A newlywed, Andrew, and his wife, Olivia, spend most of their free time enjoying the outdoors, playing sand volleyball and hanging out with their 2 dogs, Martha and Felix.
